Prof. Jean d'Aspremontv

Jean d’Aspremont is Professor of Public International Law at the University of Manchester, where he founded the Manchester International Law Centre (MILC), and Professor of International Legal Theory at the University of Amsterdam. He is General Editorof the Cambridge Studies in International and Comparative Law book series, Director of Oxford International Organizations (OXIO), member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the European Journal of International Law, series editor of the Mell and Schill Studies in International Law book series, and has acted as counsel in proceedings before the International Court of Justice. Professor d’Aspremont has published widely in the field of international law, having authored several books and edited volumes as well as over one hundred peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, mostly in English. Some of his articles have been translated into several languages including Spanish, Hindi, and Persian.
